With over 18 years in the industry, Chris has built his business from scratch, attracting clients from across the South West and beyond. Chris joined St. James’s Place in 2014, initially working for another Practice in Bath, before deciding to set up his own Practice in January 2019. Chris can provide financial advice in all areas and has a very in-depth knowledge of tax planning, investment and retirement planning, and he has helped many happy clients retire earlier than they had planned. Many of Chris’s clients have come to the Practice through recommendations and word of mouth.
The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds selected and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than the amount invested.
Coronation Wealth Management is a family business and in early 2019 Chris’s wife, Marie joined as a Partner in the business and took on the role of Practice Manager. Marie has eight years past experience working in Private Banking and also five years working with major and corporate donors in the philanthropy sector. Marie is qualified as a Mortgage Adviser and is also working towards her Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Marie’s role is to keep the Practice running smoothly behind the scenes.
Ian joined Coronation Wealth Management in September 2019 after taking the time to enhance his qualifications during a career break in 2018. Prior to that, Ian spent over 40 years in the Banking Industry supporting Private Clients. He has vast experience of working with clients with more complex needs, including CEO’s of large companies, lottery winners and public figures.
Another new addition to the team is Divak, an experienced adviser with more than 30 years in Financial Services, working for some of the largest UK banks, but also with offshore experience in the Middle East and USA. Divak joined us in September 2019.
Winnie has excellent background knowledge of St. James’s Place products and procedures, having worked for Partner Practices in both Cardiff and London throughout her career so far. Winnie achieved her Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning through the St. James’s Place Paraplanning Academy. She also holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics. Winnie’s role is to provide background technical support to the Advisers, ensuring that high standards are adhered to in the advice process and all documentation produced.
As the Practice has become busier with new Advisers and new clients, so too has the level of background work required. John has recently joined in November to support this growth and provide Paraplanning support to Winnie and administration support for the Practice. John has a background in tourism and private education, an MBA from the University of Exeter and is currently studying towards his Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
